We’re thrilled to announce that legendary sportswriter J.A. Adande has been added to our lineup of instructors for the Sports Business Classroom Business of Basketball Immersive Experience, taking place July 14-20 during NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
The Business of Basketball Immersive Experience will give both aspiring and seasoned basketball professionals from around the world the opportunity to learn from top sports professionals in a one-of-a-kind environment.
Currently serving as the Director of Sports Journalism at Northwestern University, Adande has covered a multitude of prestigious events, including the Olympic Games, Wimbledon, the Super Bowl, the NCAA Final Four, and the NBA Finals. Adande is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Journalism. His dedication to mentorship and education underscores his commitment to fostering the next generation of sports industry leaders.

Adande was honored as the 2024 Curt Gowdy Print Media Award Recipient by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, further solidifying his impact on the basketball landscape.
