Sports Business Classroom is excited to announce that Khaleelah Porome, Manager of Business Operations and Strategy at Bleacher Report, will be a featured speaker in our TV, Online and In-Arena Broadcast major at the 2017 Sports Business Classroom (SBC) in Las Vegas.

Every Sports Business Classroom student will learn about television and broadcast production in the GE sessions. Those choosing the TV, Online and In-Arena Broadcast major will focus on in-depth broadcast production content during the last three days of the program.

As a featured speaker at the 2017 Sports Business Classroom, Porome will be part of an all-star lineup of sports business executives that are teachers and presenters. Last year’s SBC featured NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Washington Wizards Head Coach Scott Brooks, the Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey, Ned Cohen of the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors GM Masai Ujiri and the Vegas Summer League’s very own Warren LeGarie.

SBC Speaker Bio: Khaleelah Porome – Manager, Business Ops and Strategy – Bleacher Report

Khaleelah Porome is a California native with a B.S. degree in chemistry from Hampton University. Khaleelah has worked as a chemist in laboratories conducting experiments and transitioned to a three-year appointment with the National Science Foundation, followed by a short stint as a government contractor managing a multibillion dollar project. Eventually deciding to take on her life-long dream of working in the sports and entertainment industry, she took on a role to work with ESPN’s Michael Wilbon as director of talent affairs. The role led to her working with several other on air-personalities. She also had a chance to produce for ESPN, Extra, Fandango/NBC and various entertainment outlets. In August 2016, Khaleelah joined Bleacher Report as a Manager of Business Operations and Strategy.
