Las Vegas, September 26, 2023 – ESPN NBA Front Office Insider, Bobby Marks, is set to champion the next wave of leaders in the business of basketball as he takes on the role of Lead Instructor for Sports Business Classroom (SBC), the global leader in basketball education.
In his new capacity, Marks will be responsible for enhancing SBC’s existing offerings, as well as overseeing the development of new curriculum including an in-depth video on-demand course that reviews the changes to the 2023 NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Dedicated to developing the basketball leaders of the future, Sports Business Classroom offers experiential live events, video-on-demand courses, virtual conferences, expert content and digital experiences. SBC’s flagship programs currently consist of the Business of Basketball Immersive Experience, a weeklong program which takes place during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, as well as various video On-Demand Courses on the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The addition of Marks to the staff will be instrumental in expanding SBC’s brand offerings and partnerships, which include the NBA Players Association (NBPA), EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA), UNLV Sports Innovation, the Chris Paul Family Foundation, PLAY MAKE HER, Jalen Brunson’s Second Round Foundation and Meta among others.

Since joining ESPN in 2017, Marks has established himself as the preeminent NBA front office insider in basketball. Prior to ESPN, Marks spent 20 years working in NBA front offices, most recently as the Assistant General Manager with the Brooklyn Nets.
SBC has become an excellent resource for talent acquisition of young sports professionals, with over 150 alumni now working in front offices across the sports landscape.
