Sports Business Classroom is excited to announce that Nate Duncan, host of the Dunc’d On Basketball Podcast, will be an instructor during SBC 2018.
As a featured speaker at the 2018 Sports Business Classroom, Duncan will be part of an all-star lineup of sports business executives that are teachers and presenters. Previous years at SBC have featured NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Washington Wizards Head Coach Scott Brooks, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Ned Cohen of the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors GM Masai Ujiri, and the Vegas Summer League’s very own Warren LeGarie.

Nate Duncan is an NBA Salary Cap expert and creator of the NBA CBA Flashcard tool, designed to help others learn the intricacies of the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Duncan’s most recent project is the Twitter NBA Show, a live-streaming second screen experience for NBA games. He also hosts the Dunc’d On Basketball Podcast, a daily NBA podcast, and has written about the NBA for ESPN Insider. Duncan was previously a writer for Hoopsworld and Basketball Insiders, and an attorney at the Bay Area law firm Bowles & Verna. He graduated from Tulane University and received his law degree from the University of Arizona.

Immersed in the Las Vegas Summer League, Sports Business Classroom 2018 will play host to two training and educational programs: The Business of Basketball and The Executive Session focused on the league salary cap.
Designed for those looking to break into the sports business world, the six-day Business of Basketball program will give attendees the opportunity to learn from and interact with top executives while performing real exercises in scouting, video, analytics, social media, digital branding, broadcasting, and the league salary cap.
Designed for league and team personnel, agents and accredited media, the Executive Session will provide a deep dive and advanced analysis focused on the league salary cap. Participants in the Business of Basketball program who are majoring in the league salary cap will learn shoulder-to-shoulder with industry personnel enrolled in the Executive Session.
